The Hukilau is a lounge chair and a coffee table in one depending on how you place it, table top or bamboo sticks facing up. The Hukilau is made of teak plywood, but can bee made in a range of different woods, the seating surface is made of bamboo sticks. The name comes from the word for a Hawaiian fish trap. Not that a real hukilau looks anything remotely like this but thanks to its design you could probably catch a fish or two with it.
