The aim of this book was to combine two passions of mine. Cocktails and design. In this case more specifically glass design. It didn’t actually start as a book project at all but rather as a way to spread cocktail history, and showing that making a great cocktail isn’t necessarily that difficult. At the same time I wanted to exhibit beautiful designs from known and lesser known designers. All in the form of affordable fine art posters to decorate your home bar, kitchen, living room, or any place really.
There are more than one way of using this book. Either you simply look up your favorite cocktail, or your favorite base ingredient, or you look in the calendar to check what cocktail you simply must drink at what date, like a Royal Hawaiian on King Kamehameha Day, June 11. Another way to go about it is to make a new cocktail every Saturday, starting from the first Saturday in January and then keep going until the year is up and you will have mixed all 52 drinks in the book.
Brochure made for the Absolut Company to show the range and product diversity within the company and at the same time telling the story behind the brands as well us presenting some amazing cocktails.
